Plain English summary: These terms set out what we promise to do for you, what we need from you, how payment works, and what happens if things go wrong. By using our services or buying anything from us, you agree to these terms. If you have questions, email us before agreeing.
1. About us
These terms govern your use of services provided by AEO-REX Ltd ("we", "us", "our", "AEO-REX").

2. Agreement to these terms
By accessing our websites (aeo-rex.com, tools.aeo-rex.com, app.aeo-rex.com), using our free tools, or purchasing any service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
If you are entering into these terms on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you confirm that you have authority to bind that entity.
3. Our services
AEO-REX provides Answer Engine Optimisation (AEO) services to help businesses improve their visibility and citations across AI platforms including ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, and Microsoft Copilot. Our current services include:
- AI Visibility Report (£97): A one-time written audit delivered as a branded PDF within 24 hours of purchase, including your AI Visibility Score, identified issues, priority actions, and step-by-step fixes
- Done For You AEO (£447): A one-time service where we implement AEO fixes on your behalf, including schema markup, citation building, and content optimisation
- Monthly Watchdog (£97/month): An ongoing monthly subscription providing citation monitoring, optimisation adjustments, and monthly reporting
- Growth Plan (£897 every 3 months): A combined AEO and PR service delivered on a quarterly subscription basis
- Free tools: Free AI visibility scanner and dashboard modules available at tools.aeo-rex.com and app.aeo-rex.com
Service descriptions, features, and pricing on our website at the time of purchase form part of these terms. We may update our service offerings from time to time; any changes apply to new purchases, not to services already paid for.
4. Placing an order
When you submit a purchase through our website or via Stripe invoicing:
- You are making an offer to buy the service described
- We accept your offer when we confirm your order by email and/or deliver the service
- A binding contract is formed at that point
- We reserve the right to refuse any order (for example, if we cannot verify your business, if we believe the service is not suitable for your needs, or if we are unable to deliver within our promised timeframe)
5. Pricing and payment
- All prices are shown in GBP (£) and are inclusive of any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise
- Payment is processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your full card details
- One-time services are charged in full at the point of purchase
- Subscription services (Monthly Watchdog, Growth Plan) are charged at the start of each billing period and continue until cancelled
- If payment fails, we may suspend or cancel the service until payment is resolved
- Invoices issued to business clients are payable within 14 days unless otherwise agreed in writing. Late payments may incur interest and debt recovery costs under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998
6. Delivery and service timelines
- AI Visibility Reports are delivered within 24 hours of purchase during business hours (Monday to Friday, UK time). Orders placed over weekends or UK bank holidays will be delivered on the next working day
- Done For You AEO typically takes 2 to 4 weeks to complete depending on the scope of fixes required
- Monthly Watchdog reports are delivered on a rolling monthly schedule, starting within 14 days of subscription
- Delivery times are good-faith estimates. Delays outside our reasonable control (including third-party platform changes, technical outages, or information we need from you) may extend timelines. We will communicate any delays promptly
7. Your responsibilities
To help us deliver the service, you agree to:
- Provide accurate business information at the point of purchase
- Respond to reasonable requests for information or access within a reasonable time
- Grant us the access we need to implement agreed changes (for Done For You services)
- Not use our services to engage in unlawful, misleading, or spammy practices
- Not resell, republish, or share our reports or proprietary methodologies without our written permission
8. Refunds and cancellations
8.1 Consumer right to cancel (UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013)
If you are a consumer purchasing for personal (non-business) use, you have a 14-day cancellation right from the date of purchase. However, digital services that begin delivery immediately with your consent may have this right waived. By purchasing our services and requesting immediate delivery, you expressly waive your right to cancel once delivery has begun.
Most of our clients are businesses and this right does not apply to business-to-business sales.
8.2 AI Visibility Report refunds
Because the AI Visibility Report is a custom digital product prepared specifically for your business, refunds are not available once delivery has begun. If there is a genuine problem with your report (for example, significant factual errors), contact us within 7 days of delivery and we will review and revise the report at no cost.
8.3 Done For You AEO refunds
Refunds are not available once implementation work has started. If we have not yet begun work, a full refund may be issued. The 90-day results guarantee (as described at the point of sale) is our commitment to continue working with you within the original scope if agreed outcomes are not met. This is our exclusive remedy.
8.4 Subscription cancellations
You can cancel any subscription (Monthly Watchdog, Growth Plan) at any time by emailing us or through your Stripe customer portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We do not issue partial refunds for unused time in an already-started billing cycle.
8.5 Our right to cancel
We may cancel an order and issue a full refund if we are unable to deliver the service, if we identify the service is not a suitable fit, or if we reasonably suspect misuse or breach of these terms.
9. Intellectual property
- All content on our websites, including our logo, the AEO-REX® registered trademark, our methodology, scoring system, report templates, and written content, remains our property
- When you purchase a report, you receive a personal, non-transferable licence to use the report's findings and recommendations within your own business
- You may not resell, republish, or share our reports with third parties (including competing agencies) without our written permission
- Any content you provide to us (including your website, business information, and materials shared for the purposes of our work) remains your property. You grant us a licence to use it solely for the purpose of delivering the agreed service
10. Confidentiality
Both parties agree to keep confidential any non-public information shared during the course of our engagement. This obligation continues after the end of our working relationship. Confidentiality does not apply to information that is already public, is independently developed, or must be disclosed by law.
11. Results and disclaimers
Important: AEO and AI search visibility are influenced by many factors outside our control, including AI platform algorithm changes, competitor activity, your existing digital footprint, and your own follow-through on our recommendations.
- We do not guarantee specific rankings, citations, traffic levels, or business outcomes unless expressly stated in a separate written agreement (for example, the 90-day results guarantee for Done For You AEO)
- Any examples, case studies, or testimonials on our website reflect the experience of specific clients and are not a promise of similar results for you
- Our services do not constitute legal, financial, or regulatory advice. For those matters, consult an appropriately qualified professional
12. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability that cannot be limited under UK law.
Subject to that:
- Our total liability to you for any claim arising from or connected to these terms or your use of our services is limited to the total amount you paid us in the 12 months immediately before the event giving rise to the claim
- We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special losses, loss of profits, loss of business, loss of goodwill, or loss of anticipated savings
- We are not liable for losses caused by events outside our reasonable control (including internet outages, changes to AI platforms, or third-party service failures)
This limitation applies to the fullest extent permitted by law.
13. Third-party platforms
Our services involve third-party platforms (including ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Google, Microsoft, and directory sites). We have no control over these platforms and are not responsible for changes they make to their systems, algorithms, or policies. Where our work relies on integrations or public data from these platforms, we cannot guarantee continuous availability.
14. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to our services immediately if:
- You breach these terms and fail to fix the breach within a reasonable time after we ask
- You use our services in a way that is unlawful, harmful, or damaging to us or others
- Payment is not made when due and remains unpaid after a reasonable reminder
Termination does not affect accrued rights, outstanding payments, or any terms intended to survive termination (such as confidentiality, intellectual property, and limitation of liability).
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If changes are significant, we will notify active clients by email. Continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. The version of the terms in effect at the point of purchase applies to that specific order.
16. Privacy and data protection
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using our services, you agree to our Privacy Policy.
17. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising from or connected to these terms will be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer resident in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may bring proceedings in your local courts.
18. Other important things
- Entire agreement: These terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any order confirmation, form the entire agreement between us
- No partnership: Nothing in these terms creates a partnership, joint venture, or employment relationship
- Severability: If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remain in force
- No waiver: If we don't enforce a right under these terms immediately, we haven't waived it
- Assignment: You may not transfer your rights under these terms without our written consent. We may assign our rights to a successor business
- Third-party rights: Nobody outside of you and us has rights to enforce these terms
